Jess and Matt were so excited to welcome their first baby into the world. And these 2 are so sweet with each other, making it a pleasure to capture their love and excitement with my camera. Life has thrown a few curve balls at Jess and Matt but they are determined to face it all together.
Jess and Matt, thank you for allowing me to document this very special time in your lives. I believe you will have many wonderful, happy days ahead.
Post photo-shoot comment: little Brantley was born at the end of September and is still in the hospital because of health problems. He is expected to come home very soon, but if you're reading this you might say a little prayer for Brantley and his parents.
At the time they're happening, you think you'll always remember those special moments. But the reality is that our memories fade with time. What I love about photography is that you can capture those special moments, occasions, fun times, adorable ages - and savor them for a long time to come...and I love to be the "saver" of those moments for others. Welcome to my blog. Thanks for letting me share my photography...my life...my thoughts. Please feel free to leave me your thoughts as well!

Expecting Cooper
Alisha has wanted to be a mom for SOOO long, so I was thrilled for her when I heard it was finally going to happen! And excited as well when she asked me to take some maternity photos before her little guy arrives. Alisha and David were so cute together, I had to resist the urge to say it after every shot. Okay I didn't resist that much... Enjoy some of my favorites!
David was right Alisha - you do have that glow!
Cooper's daddy is firefighter - those are some big boots to fill.
This is my favorite - you guys are so sweet.
Alisha and David, thank you so much for choosing me to capture this very special time in your lives. I can't wait for your precious baby boy to arrive! But enjoy the rest of your pregnancy - it will be over before you know it.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Mothers...it's hard to find words to adequately describe what that means. Our mothers take care of us, they hurt when we hurt and their hearts smile when we're happy. They try so hard to keep us safe from harm and to help us avoid mistakes - though sometimes they see those coming and can't do anything about it. But that's part of it too - they know there are lessons we have to learn the hard way. Most important of all - they love us unconditionally. Happy Mother's Day to everyone who is a mom, or who has a mom, or had a mom! Hmmm, that pretty much covers everybody doesn't it. I hope you enjoy this very special day. To my mom (the best in the world, by the way) - THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU!
And what better way to illustrate Mother's Day but with images of this beautiful little mother-to-be!

More of Lyndsi's maternity photos coming soon! And I can't wait to photograph little Kaydence when she arrives!
I saw this little mama trying to lead her babies to safety yesterday. She was "caught" in a grassy area between a busy street and a parking lot. I watched anxiously as she considered taking them across the street, but she decided to stay in the edge of the grass closer to the parking lot. Good choice mama goose! Your babies are adorable.

I was honored to be able to photograph Drew before and after he was born. :) What a beautiful little family they make. Thanks for letting me capture these special moments.
