What'd I tell you? Great shoes Cameron! :)
At the time they're happening, you think you'll always remember those special moments. But the reality is that our memories fade with time. What I love about photography is that you can capture those special moments, occasions, fun times, adorable ages - and savor them for a long time to come...and I love to be the "saver" of those moments for others. Welcome to my blog. Thanks for letting me share my photography...my life...my thoughts. Please feel free to leave me your thoughts as well!

Seniors - Cameron
This photo session with Cameron was lots of fun. Well, aside from the fareeezzzing temperatures. Cameron has a fun personality and he's a manly guy with style. How often does that combo happen?! AND...he's very photogenic...as you'll see. Here are just a few of my favorites. But I gotta warn you - I have lots of favorites. It was hard to choose.

Lessons from a dog
Someone once emailed me a quote about life lessons we could learn from dogs. Several items – like be loyal, take naps, and never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride – were really good advice. But my favorite was “When loved ones come home, always run to greet them”. Not only do dogs run to greet their loved ones, but they wag their tail and wiggle all over. Why don’t we do that? Show people we care about just how happy we are to see them?
This is my new baby Jorga (pronounced Georgia – and don’t hate – I didn’t choose the spelling). She makes it very clear that she’s excited when I get home.
This is her happy face because she's experiencing one of her first chances to run free and play.
She loves her "frogger" too. Frogger is currently hanging up to dry. Ewww.

I adopted Jorga from Purdue's vet school and she has lived in a kennel much of her life. She was SO excited to be able to run around in the field and the creek at my sister's house.

Although Alfred isn't quite as expressive with his feelings, he has ways of showing that he cares. Like laying on my face in the morning when he wants me to wake up.

Personal - VACA in Florida!
Florida is just a wonderful place to be this time of year. A few days of warmth and sunshine can just do wonders. Spending time with my sisters and parents was pretty nice too. :)
Dad showed us this pond/swamp area where the storks roost in the evenings - we're talking hundreds of them!
There are also lots of stores that attract tourists. Like us.

Ahhh...the beach
And they were having a sponge festival while we were there so some of the streets were blocked off and street bands were playing.

Probably my favorite picture of the whole trip - Mom and Yia Yia. Love it.

Tyler
One thing that I strive very hard for when taking photographs is to capture personality. I don't know how well I succeeded with Tyler, but I can tell you this - if you know him, you are lucky; if you don't, I wish you could. He is smart, fun, sweet, athletic, just an all-around great guy. And he's my nephew! :) Here are just a few of his senior pics. You'll be seeing more of him in the near future.
Love you Taller, and I'm proud to be your aunt.
Ummmm. Yes, girls, he's single. But you have to go through me. And my rigorous screening process.
