They grew up very close to each other; their families knew each other; the bride's aunt was the coach of the groom's mother. With all those funny connections, they probably crossed paths a few times and didn't even know it. But Ashlee and Tylan never met until Ashlee was in Pharmacy school at Purdue. Since then they have each worked hard to make their individual dreams come true and they have worked hard together to make their dreams as husband and wife come true. They even bought a house shortly before their wedding, so they're all set to begin their lives as Mr. & Mrs. Thompson!
The love and support for these two was apparent in the words spoken by their families and in the cooperative efforts to make their wedding such a special event.
Ashlee and Tylan, thank you so much for asking me to photograph your wedding. It was a beautiful event and I was honored to be able to document your big day. I'm wishing for you a long and blessed life together!

At the time they're happening, you think you'll always remember those special moments. But the reality is that our memories fade with time. What I love about photography is that you can capture those special moments, occasions, fun times, adorable ages - and savor them for a long time to come...and I love to be the "saver" of those moments for others. Welcome to my blog. Thanks for letting me share my photography...my life...my thoughts. Please feel free to leave me your thoughts as well!

Kelsee and Jordan are married!
My original role at Kelsee and Jordan’s wedding was just to
be a guest … one of the grandmothers. As
their date grew closer, however, Kelsee asked if I would be willing to serve as
an “extra photographer” as well. She may have thought I was just helping her
out but this turned out to be a benefit to me, because when you have a couple
as attractive as Kelsee & Jordan and a wedding as beautiful as theirs was,
it makes for lots of beautiful photo opportunities. Being an assistant
photographer was actually a role I really enjoyed. Without the pressure of having to get the “required
shots”, I felt more relaxed and free to be a little more creative with my
photos than I might otherwise have been.
Kelsee and Jordan have been together for a long time and
they’re a couple who just seems to fit together. They are beautiful people, inside as well as
out, and their wedding at the State House in Indianapolis was a gorgeous affair.Love and congratulations to you, Kelsee and Jordan, and God’s blessings as you begin your life together in Texas!

Lindsey & Matt - Married!
Lindsey and Matt's big day dawned bright and beautiful. You seriously could not have asked for a more perfect day for a wedding. Which was really fitting for 2 such lovely people as Lindsey and Matt starting their life together! It
was a day filled with excitement, happiness, love, and warm-hearted support
from family and friends who couldn’t wait to see Lindsey and Matt tie that
knot. It’s always an honor to capture
photos of a couple’s most important day, but it’s extra-special when you can
just feel that they are meant to be together…something I felt right away with
these two.
…which is no surprise since this is what he saw as he came around the corner.
Matt was getting ready in the other end of the building and was so excited to get this day underway.
Matt and his brothers have a very tight bond, but they adore Lindsey too and could not be happier for their brother.

Lindsey’s mom, Cindy, is a good friend of mine, so I’ve
known for a while now how happy she was about this union. Having recently been a mother-of-the-bride
myself, I know the mix of emotions that come over you on your daughter’s
wedding day. Cindy, you were the picture
of calm and grace all day long. I love
this image of beautiful mother and daughter.
Lindsey chose to have a first look with her dad, which
turned out to be one of the most touching moments of the day. His reaction to seeing his beautiful daughter
as a bride was priceless.

Lindsey and Matt, it was a pleasure and an honor to
photograph your big day. I know you’re
having a wonderful time in Hawaii and I pray that your life together will be
filled with God’s richest blessings. I’m
confident that God has big plans to carry out both for you and through you.
