We spent part of our family Christmas day tromping through my grandparents' woods. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Well, I'll let the photos do the talking...
At the time they're happening, you think you'll always remember those special moments. But the reality is that our memories fade with time. What I love about photography is that you can capture those special moments, occasions, fun times, adorable ages - and savor them for a long time to come...and I love to be the "saver" of those moments for others. Welcome to my blog. Thanks for letting me share my photography...my life...my thoughts. Please feel free to leave me your thoughts as well!

The Estle Family
I knew what was meant by the "golden hour", but had never seen it quite as golden as the evening of this photo shoot with the Estles. The light was so warm and glowy. I wanted to freeze that moment in time. Of course I couldn't do that but we were in the right place to take advantage of it. This session was even more enjoyable because it's my niece and her beautiful family. We're comfortable with each other and they're all very photogenic. You've seen them on my blog before but isn't it fun to see how they're changing. Mason and Elise are growing up fast!
I can't freeze the sun as it's setting and I can't freeze the kids as they're growing, but at least I can freeze these moments in photos. Love that!
Justin, Erin, Mason and Elise...I love you guys!

Aly - Class of 2013
Aly has been preparing for her senior photo session for a very long time, making my job a breeze because she had locations, wardrobe and props all prepared. It doesn't hurt that she's super photogenic and looks adorable in every shot! You may remember Aly from my styled shoot last Spring - she's great at the modeling thing. Aly has such a fun personality and sense of adventure, so she was up for trying just about anything to get the photos we wanted...including rushing out to sit in the middle of the street between stoplights!
Aly, as always, I had a great time taking photos of you. I love your carefree-ness (yes, I made that word up) and how you exude a love of life. All the best as you finish your Senior year and enter your next life adventure!

Meet little Cooper
You first met Cooper a few posts ago when he was still in the oven. Now that he's done baking he's just cuter than ever! I just wanted to keep snapping pictures of him because every one was so adorable, and looking at them now makes me want to hug and kiss him.
I think he has that same effect on his parents.
Such a little sugar bear...
